If you’re looking to make sure you’re ready to go when Counter-Strike 2 launches, then you’ll want to make sure you have the minimum system requirements.
Counter-Strike 2’s system requirements haven’t been revealed yet officially, but they’re not expected to be exceptionally high. It’s thought that the new iteration will require slightly better computers than the current version, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but not by much.
Counter-Strike 2 isn’t expected to require much more than CS:GO
The game is set to launch in the Summer of 2023, but no official date has been shared. As of now, there’s only a very limited test available to enjoy for a select few.
The game will be free-to-play at launch, so you can save that money to upgrade your computer if it’s needed once reviewing the system requirements.
Below you can find the requirements provided by Valve for Windows, macOS, SteamOS, and Linux when it comes to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If you meet these, there’s a solid chance you will also be able to play when the new game launches.
